The kitchen table

I look a the clock, tic-toc, tic-toc, tic-toc. Time sure flows slowly. The kitchen table is the only hold I have at the moment. And the beer. The beer is always there to console me. It keeps the memories of you far away from me. But without the kitchen table, I would lie on the floor and sing a lonely song, alone in the dark room.

"Ohhh Baby,
come to me!
I love you,
come to me.
I need you
cook for me!
I miss you,
help me!
Ohhh Baby,
I hate you!"

But since the kitchen table did not leave me alone, I am neither singing, nor lying. I don't have to crawl on the floor. The fridge is to the right, my phone to the left and the door is always open for the pizza guy to come in. I cannot stand up. I cannot leave the table. We belong together. It's the only thing in my life, that would never abandon me. My good good table. I'd die without you here.

Oh, I'm hungry! I called the pizza guy over an hour ago, but there is nothing there. Only an empty pizzabox. Nothing left inside. My stomach grumbles.
"Meat! Meat! Something to Eat!"
He is shouting so loud.
"Another can of beer for me please, Mr Fridge. Thank you very much. How much is it? Only 3$? That's cheap." I throw the money but Mr Fridge doesn't catch it. "My bad."
He bends down, but does not reach. So I want to help him. I lean to the right, try to grab the money.
"Not enough" I lean further. "Still not enough. Mr Fridge, you are not even trying!"
I bend even further and suddenly my beer can falls down the table. I wonder why, but as soon as my head hits the floor I get it. The kitchen table helped me to pick the money up. But his fingers are too fat.
"Thanks kitchen table, you are the only one who is helping me."

But now I'm lying on the floor. Urges rise. The floor gets dirty. The pizza guy comes in, sees me lying next to my beer and hearing me shouting

"Ohhh Baby,
come to me!
I love you,
come to me.
I need you
cook for me!
I miss you,
help me!
Ohhh Baby,
I hate you!"

Not even the kitchen table stands by my side anymore.
