when the feeling in your mind
beats the feeling in real life
I've had this feeling fantasizing
on more than one occasion
I think I'd be better off in spirit
cos my life is already going to waste

This is so poignant a write. It is, for me, an isolation like no other when I feel left behind and not “living” life as I view others living theirs. “ I think I'd be better off in spirit ” the touchstone of your poem that I have contemplated many times.
