What Would YOU Do?

What would you do if you were me?
Would you continue the way that I do?
Or would you be the one brave enough
To tell you that "I want you"?

What would you think if you were me?
Since you know all the things that I do?
Would you be strong enough to carry on?
And pretend that your feelings aren't true.

What would you say honestly to me?
Would you be as gentle as I am with you?
Or would you simply just not say a word?
At least, til you thought it all through.

What would you feel if you were me?
When my eyes fill with joy seeing you,
Would you gaze down as you often do?
Cos what you see in my eyes is true.

What would you hear if you were me?
If you already knew what I knew?
Would you just disregard your beautiful voice?
Cos you know that its not meant for you.

What would you like to feel on your lips?
If you knew on my lips I'd like you,
Would you just turn your back and walk away?
Or would you be happy to pursue?

What would you do if you wanted me?
Would you be strong enough to say that you do?
Or would you simply just bow your head?
Even although you know I want you too...

What can I say? This is why I keep silent,
Cos I know everything that you'd do,
Even although you know how I feel,
It's obvious, Im not good enough for you....
