Anger- poem 4 of 10 in 'Letters of Affliction'
In utero,
Celestial blindness becomes,
Gestating hate.
Rancid violence reaches up my throat.
Fear antagonized,
Like a bleeding tide.
Echoing silence to deafening madness.
Lulled tranquility to thunderous terror.
Anger reverberating my skeleton,
Reflecting my hollowed soul.
Envy harmonized with lunacy,
Birthing my internal cataclysm.
My mind a rival to my soul,
No reverence.
My body a traitor to my heart,
No purpose.
Obscure nightmare.
An invasion of seethe.
Unbenevolent,
I am my own enemy.
