Life’s margin
The sky is falling
It always has
I didn’t realize
Till it hit my hands
The blue swirling about me
I drown in its depth
Losing my body, myself
At least what’s left
The pain of it anchors me
Staking me into the ground
I must withstand
Still clouds left
Puffy and white
Selfish to leave
So many insight
So like atlas I rest
Screaming in unruly acrimony
Persisting nonetheless
The ground fractures
The dark threatening to consume
As the blue grows and the clouds confess
The blue recedes
With deed left done
The statue gone west
As the evanescence of life’s margin is passed
It always has
I didn’t realize
Till it hit my hands
The blue swirling about me
I drown in its depth
Losing my body, myself
At least what’s left
The pain of it anchors me
Staking me into the ground
I must withstand
Still clouds left
Puffy and white
Selfish to leave
So many insight
So like atlas I rest
Screaming in unruly acrimony
Persisting nonetheless
The ground fractures
The dark threatening to consume
As the blue grows and the clouds confess
The blue recedes
With deed left done
The statue gone west
As the evanescence of life’s margin is passed
