of Prudence
When all my cares are gone away
And nations rise to take its place
From there the Prudence of the day
Will never veil it's perfect face
In time, the mystery of life
With all its pains, and cares and woe
Would fain reveal its subtle strife
That it may come and peace would go
But prudence dwells with truth and right
And all the weights are his to give
Who grants the eye a newfound sight
And grants the wisest soul to live
And nations rise to take its place
From there the Prudence of the day
Will never veil it's perfect face
In time, the mystery of life
With all its pains, and cares and woe
Would fain reveal its subtle strife
That it may come and peace would go
But prudence dwells with truth and right
And all the weights are his to give
Who grants the eye a newfound sight
And grants the wisest soul to live
