and make sure it’s not stuck to the griddle.
I checked. It was not.
She said her baking is inconsistent
in that some things recommend
that you let them sit for a few seconds
after cooking while other things
you need to take out right away
or they will stick
and she doesn’t always
know the difference.
I said it's like dating
or making polymers,
it is all about chemistry.
She remains the cook
and I the comic philosopher.
