Frozen Forever Young

The neighbor lady was beautiful
I watched her at the pool
She must have known the neighbor boy
Was polishing his young tool

So, it was tragic the day she died
I’d never felt so sad
My father found her in her bed
Her body lay unclad

I learned that they met often
His mistress on the side
She was a close friend of my mom’s
Until the day she died

Her body frozen forever young
Preparing for her neighbor lover
My parents cried beside her grave
Surrounded by red passion’s clover
