Friends In Dark Days: The Call
I found a friend today
Who listened to what I had to say
Though I'm not out of the dark place
She and her husband were a ray of light
in my dark days
This poem is a "thank you" to them
For though I still fear the end
My aching muscles and shaking hands
have been soothed by the words of a friend
Who listened to what I had to say
Though I'm not out of the dark place
She and her husband were a ray of light
in my dark days
This poem is a "thank you" to them
For though I still fear the end
My aching muscles and shaking hands
have been soothed by the words of a friend
