Death comes and takes what you love
that's what you learn from early on
after the calming fairy tales are gone
Sometimes we're scared that it's true
and I've seen the mourner poem
calling for the end of tomorrow
loving and yet hating yesterday

but I know the real story
so here's a badass allegory
Keep your cool
we're gonna rob a train with you!

Physics reminds you that energy only changes form
On this train there are bags of them we will take by storm!
You replace yourself about every seven years
Death's train pulls a full load of reborn years

We're in the habit of stealing time
Savin lives like it's a crime
We're gonna do it on your dime
with your hope and change
