Somewhere Between Our Travels

Somewhere between
Right and wrong,
I gave my resolve to you.

Somewhere between
Possibilities and Reality,
Was surrender to the truth.

Somewhere between
Mississippi and Kentucky,
Is where I lost part of you.

Somewhere between
O'Bannon and rendezvous two,
All that was regained slipped through.

Somewhere between
Breaking the distance & goodbye again,
Is where I found a shell, that echoed of you.

Somewhere between
frustration and infatuation,
An old storm might have grew.

Somewhere between
New Mexico & Arkansas,
Is where your memory will fade to blue.

Somewhere between
Friends and lovers,
Is all I have left to lose.

Because,

Somewhere between
Loving him & you loving her,
The lies became the truth.

Author's Note
This little piece is very personally centered.
Finding, losing, gaining, and echos of the past.

To the other half of this story:
Things have changed, we changed, but no matter what, I will always have love for you. You have a friend to lean on until the end.
