What the Heart Wants

Way back when
lil SDA girl spent
around an hour
in worship alone
to start her day
 
(Fairly square)  
 
in the evening  
15 minutes on  
my knees by bedside  
became a snooze  
a lot of times!
(Not so square!)
 
So Ex-
SDA logged
into theology
websites instead
for about a decade  
of all day indulgence  
in Bible and more
had questions  
....for sure!
then
I  
 
Became a poet..
Ex of forums...
Not trying to make  
lady friends  
just trying to stay logged  
out of
just about everything  
but answers
 
That wasn't sustainable!
 
It was nuts.
 
So now, every morning  
I worship in ink art
near recognized
endearing spirits
 
That's me, today!
