Free As The Wind

Whenever I go to the beach
All my worries are released
My sins become forgotten
In the midst of the ocean breeze

The birds fly so freely
With grace so elegantly
What my soul is longing for
As I sit in the sand by the sea

I feel as if time suddenly stops
And I am one with the waves
As they crash upon the shore
All through the night and days

I can just float through the motions
In a little piece of heaven
All the stars and the oceans
Casting away my depression

As the sun beats down
With colors of purple and grays
Lighting up the sky
With it's gorgeous powerful rays

I can see things more clearly
Even through fog so thick
I can finally breathe again
And my heart is genuinely content
