Legend of the Starseeker

Ancient tales of sun kissed trails
fire side stories of barbaric glory.
Tales of kings and men
dance wild with the cheiftain

Let us spin a fairytale
of a hunter so beautiful & fair,
and her journey to the beyond
to sail the star-seas
to protect her kin;

This is the legend of the Starseeker.

Navigated by a northern star
protected by guards of goblin fame
and manicured by the fairy char.
Her journey through the icy tiles
moons, and planets begins in a daze.

Against the breeze
she rides the great Chollima
and crosses the infinite sky-sea
Golden hair brushed against her side
she leaves the earth in her wake
to search for a planet named “Three”

Home to the lords and a duchess
with prolific green and gold trees
the planet mines happiness & gratitude
beneath, its bright colourful crusted floor.
These gifts of heart are what she needs
to save the earth from humanity.

Beyond meteors and satellites’
the ‘Southern Cross’ & ‘Orion’s Belt’
at speeds beyond that of sound
she chases light through the deafening night.
to meet the keeper of the gate
at “Three’s” dawn – A quarter to eight...
