The Journey of Ten Thousand Years

The journey of ten thousand years began when I met you in our first life time,
I looked into your eyes as we shared the Kemetian stars,
The Ethiopian moon,
The Ta-Seti sun.
The journey of ten thousand years continued in our second life when we met again,
I held your hand as we traveled through the beautiful paradise of Lower Nubia,
Crossed the water over the Nile and sat with the Kushites.
The journey of ten thousand years continued when I found you in my fifth life,
As I protected you my Queen from the invaders coming from the North, West of Asia,
The ones who were banished into the caves and mountains opposite the barren dessert,
I gave my life in order for you to be free.
The journey of ten thousand years continued in our seventh life,
As we stood together man and woman protecting our family as Zulu
As Mandingo and Mandinga,
As Watusi.
The journey of ten thousands year our paths crossed again while traveling with the great Warrior Queen Harriet Tubman as we ran through the woods of the Underground Railroad.
I would not let go of your hand or your heart as we ran from the dogs,
The hunters,
The sellouts to our people
The journey of ten thousand years brought us back together this life time and I will continue to search for you for ten thousand more.
