Love Duel - A Dream

Love Duel

Wife rebirths in raven haired splendor
To love play with flowering pampas grass
Pruned of those sharp leaves
Down to its stiff stem
We face off in the buff
In pursuit of a competitive edge
With soft tussocks our fencing swords
She feints below my belt
By tickling my spear with her plant plume
My nether foil rises in counter-feint
The contest is all but won by her
Until I parry and thrust
With my flowery clump
Only to throw the game
By lying face down on the floor
Whereupon my spoken touché
Concedes her every cuff
With grass fluff
Upon my duff
To incur her gleeful giggles
My brawn no match
For her feminine mystique
