One of your more psychological and image heavy poems, and none the worse for that. The ease and skill with which you convey the thought process of a man emerging from a coma after such a trauma is so immense, and the lines so realistic, that it makes me wonder if maybe you've suffered this yourself.

yes I was dropped on my head when I was 2 months old in the area of the skull bone called the occipital area.. the skull was fracture.. also this part of the brain that was pushed on slightly controls sight.. I have hallucinations that I theorize may have been caused by this event.. no coma.. no retardation.. but I believe this jolted something in me and my mind was wider open to thought and consciousness.. but that's just a theory..
