SATURATED

On the couch
I was in the middle
You were to the left
You kissed me
I returned to the middle

You were on the right
You kissed me
I returned to the middle
It went like that
For a little

Your hands met on me
And then your faces
In front of me
And we were three
Becoming one

Taking turns
I turned around
And backed up
So you could further
Turn into each other

At times I would
Come back in
We one becoming
Three flickering
Slithering tongues

In three open
Wanting mouths
Clothes were shed
You almost bumped your head
When we fell on the floor

We went upstairs
For more
Of each other
On the bed we dove
Into one another’s

Offerings
Were made and
Unmade
Oceans advancing
And receding

Lapping
Crescendoes
Lapping
At each other’s
Shores

We broke down
Every seawall
And flooded
Until all
Was saturated
