All These Things (2)

the quiet sound of candlelight
the simple joy of breath
the always day in ever night
new life after death

morning promises newly sprung
winter's grip on land
it seems that we have just begun
to know, to understand...

the wind that whistles from the north
the gentle southern breeze
buds of flowers coming forth
the majesty of trees

stars which sparkle in the sky
so very far away
dreams of love in times we lie
wishing we could play

moonlit ripples on the sea
the fluttering of wings
we come, we go, we'll always be
alive in all these things...
