It's actually a great start! How about using it as a spring board. Not to rewrite the poem necessarily, but to find a trigger that is lingering under the blank thought.

"I always write ...(about...now try the opposite)
when emotions run high (i find myself..)
but I just can't do it (because...what are you wanting to do instead?)
I have hit a wall (and it feels like...)
I can't seem to get over (how high is the wall?)
crawling under not an option (why not?)
my emotion now frustration (what are you really thinking about?)
making it more daunting
so I'm going to camp right here (where are you?)
for the time being

and have the time
come share a beer
come share your mind
advice always welcome
