Dealing with a deadly depression
Soul gripping fear, a cancerous plight
Not knowing what to do or think
Dousing your liver & lungs with liquored drinks
Moments of utter bliss so fleeting
Waiting for the Rescue, an evasive greeting
Demons awaken from the deep
As you lay your head to sleep
A sweet silence reverberates
As your existence slowly deteriorates
Bringing this upon yourself
Just to escape from your daily hell
Living free, though dying night by night
Not knowing what to do or think

Feelings are so fleeting though you should last longer than a moment. Though, if they did, it begs to wonder.. would we Truly Want the feeling to last longer than a moment-- you get me?

I liked your poem....short, simple and so true....it describes that fleeting poisonous pleasure that we derive....good job :)

Yh i tried to make it short, sometimes i get carried away and tell some tall tale where isnt necessary.
