I like the short, sweet feel to this. For some reason I dislike the word choice of "inane;" it has the wrong connotation in my mind, makes it seem like you're trying to say the lullabies were absurd or unintelligent, which doesn't go along with the feel of the rest. Overall though not a bad piece.
