too late.
in this pain and in this time
everybody believed him when he said he'd be fine
but he couldn't stand himself in the mirror knowing he was lying
he was dying inside
screaming to the night
a lifeless soul
nobody could ever fill that hole.
So he started drinking to numb the pain
every single day he started to feel the same
lifeless, his glow was gone almost like the emotion in his voice when he said he was gone.
now everybody stood up
they tried to help
but too late, nobody ever heard him when he picked up a bottle
full foot on the throttle
you could have sword there was an angel tied up in the back seat
screaming to help him and take him out of that seat.
but it was too late the man had already gone to sleep.
