How would you know...  
According to you, he didn't stay around long enough for  
              YOU to get to really know him...  
No disrespect intented ...

Each time something happens or YOU become upset,

How about if WE try a different tactic ...  
Instead of telling me how I displease you...  
 
Try telling me what I do to make you smile...  
Draw a map for me but allow me to follow my own path...  
Stop comparing me to a lesser person but...  
Help me grow into the man you see me becoming but STOP...  
 
Stop telling me at every turn that I'm failing...  
Your just like your father is like saying...  
Why do I bother with you...?  
 
No one likes to think of themselves as a second major life mistake...
