Curtain Call

Imagine this
A picturesque life with the woman you wanted to make your wife.
Then out of the blue that picture went up in flames.
And you're the one to blame.
You were all she asked for in a man.
But at some point you decided to back down and take a different stance.
While she wept and begged,
You moved on and changed.
She was trying to be better.
But you had to go and wreck her.
Asking herself, "What went wrong?
I thought we were going strong."
She is fighting for you,
Why is it that you left her feeling blue?
Did you find someone new?
She wants to give up.
But she can't call it quits.
She can't let this be it.
 She looks desperate and pathetic.
To her, he is perfect and completely worth it.
Give her chance
She promises you two will last.
Don't let this be the curtain call.
Not the final act.
