Time verses Love (the epic battle)
Time verses Love

“...the passing of time
and all of it’s hideous crimes
leaves so many with
a bitter taste on the palate.
Love, she is blamed for scars caused
by fools who knew not
what was in their possession.
Fear creeps in and Time?
Time smiles in spite:
“Give me a chance,
I will make it right.”
Fucking LIAR!
Yet Love so patiently
opens her heart to
and for those who
consistently and coldly
accuse her of failing.
She is the most faithful
the most loyal
the most true to form,
the most reliable,
more faithful than your dog;
mankind’s TRUE Best Friend,
YET, the most betrayed
and most mistreated existence
in the entire universe
second to God from
which she is born!
Never blame Her for she is
and always will be the true Savior
of mankind for without Her
you and I would not exist AT ALL!”

This poem was written based on my feelings and experience with love. Here I personify Love and Time and write about them as if they were mortal enemies, which in a way they can be...or they can be best of pals depending upon your experience.
