Like A Desert Sand Dune
My heart was empty
Lifeless-a desert sand dune
Parched, withered, barren
A vast emptiness
Gripped me like sharp claws digging
At my wounded heart
Nothing was in bloom
In the desert of my heart
Just mirage of love
Summer without sun
Dark clouds without falling rain
That was how it felt
Then you came like rain
Pouring on me from nowhere
Filling my heart's spring
My heart blooms again
Watered by the oasis
Of your warm, sweet love
