MAN DESIRED IT.

MAN DESIRED IT.
I love all the people all,
not excepting one of them.
They are all poor human beings,
who groan most of their life-time.

What are you , man, but a mind,
that can ken the end you meet?
Beasts are lucky; they don't have
knowledge of the wrong and right.

You were as pleased as the horse
which romped and grazed in the field.
Such a snake of bad intent
made you love the mind of woe.

You were so glad like a steed,
Jumping in the field of life
till that snake brought you the mind
that gave you the care of God.

God's care's too much for you, man,
but you wanted that big care,
which showed you that you would die,
and God would come to repair.
