Resolve to Evolve

All along I sought a stronger bond
Once a scrawny pawn
I've now gone beyond �
And at dawn respawned �
I've returned to haunt those who've done me wrong �
And also anyone who frowned upon �

Like a hound I'll gnaw �
While I lay down the law �
Now I've got the line drawn �
Vow to take a bite raw �
Growling as my spine crawls �
Howl, extend my dry claws �
Time for bloodshed nigh because �
This night I'll shred without pause �
�
Without a beat skipped �
When I sink my teeth in �
Rend beneath the skin �
Red seeping I drink �
�
Sleep ending, I blink �
Reality blending with fanatic fantasy �
Unwillingly wrenched from my reveling reverie �

Wake in the lowly dredges �
A wasting woeful wretch �
Stuck in this scathing sorrowful stretch �
�
Emptiness grows like a cancer �
Endlessly searching for answers �
Finding I'm grasping at straws �
Blindly, still masking my flaws �
Lost in a room with no light �
Darkness blooming, filling sight �
Grooming me into a geist �
Looming spiritual heist �
