He came to me again,
last night,
lovers we became  

In truth.. 
as with every night, 
I've wished him to be
right here with me. 

As I lay my soul to rest,  
my thoughts being one of.. 
If I think of him last of all,
focusing what little energy
I have left 
till visions of him I'll pause,
freeze & rewind, 
putting my scene on a loop, 
A cycle of play & repeat 
till happy, I'll take sleep 
knowing,
as with every night 
he's here in my bed 
close up against me 

Because I know in my heart 
someplace out there 
he's doing the same.
