Snow Globe

I dance around the artificial snow scene
As synthetic snowflakes kiss my skin

My lips are stretch out
From ear to ear

I twist and turn
While the snowflakes dance around me

The globe is filled with water
My lungs are filled with water

The snow globe is shaken up
But I just dance around without a care

Because I’m a fake little figurine
In my imitation little winter wonderland

I’m picture perfect
Trapped within glass walls

Happiness
Encased in a glass ball

The outside can’t touch me
But it can still shake me up

Drop me and watch
As my glass world shatters

Little shards of happiness
Scattered around my broken body
