Heart of a Soldier

It's been a while since I seen you here, I was hoping you haven't forgotten me... I know you may think this empty vessel in the ground is not me, you may think I've moved on and now I'm free, but to be honest,  I'm still standing here - beside this stone plaque, where I wait for you patiently...  
 
 
 I see the sadness in your eyes, you don't have to cry for me, all I ever wanted in life was for you to be happy... so dry your eyes now my sweet child, and put on a smile, please only remember the days we was happy...
 
 
I walk this path at my new home, no worries, I'm not alone,  I have my brothers and sisters by my side, they will keep me company till it's your time,  So please my dear, keep that in mind...  
 
 
you can leave here wearing a smile, know we will meet again when the time is right, but for now, live your life to the fullest,  be brave now, you can do this. Tho, it's sad to see you walk away,  I know in my heart will return another day....
