Oil Reflections

Light, refractions, cone manipulations,
ROY G BIV;
hues collected in ripples with
slow-mo capture: a
rain
droplet
falling pristine, aquatic apostrophe
hanging on air, assimilates
to fluid dynamics, an artistry
in curved water couture.

Thereby, in apropos of her hair:
a gasoline pool unlit
rippled through the days, evolves
chromatically, an ever-florid
sensation to retinal pathways with
fast-forward motion. The
two
lips
embrace in perpetual, intervallic
pilfering of breathes, congregates
to chemistry in mouths, an artistry
in bowed tongue custom.

Here now, a scene bathed in rainbow,
psychedelic rain--I stand
holding her with pause button pressed,
inverted, a silhouette couple
adorned to black-on-white,
an awkward test of Rorschach kind.

But, play-by-play reveals the motley
of vibrancy, the prismatic perfection
array, a kaleidoscope couple
adorned to disco ball glitter--
an adroit painting from the sky's own hand.
