You took the door out from my life
Your loss left me in grief
I sat there upon the pavement,
homeless, and you spoke words of
how you broke the rules of the game
I cried, my barred out mind
was twirling in an upwind, I
wanted to die, but on the
rope my grip remained
My savior came chanting to me,
a slick move, my former butterfly
lover, oh how I still crave his
touch, his love
But you, partying with pals,
strumming on your best friend
having a grand time, could care less of
me, almost murdered on the street
Months of lost contact, and now
you return with a lively
dream, asking for me to come back
But sadly, I can't object
Your loss left me in grief
