If I never said goodbye
would you think I loved you less?
Once I was forever gone
would you have anything you'd
wished to have said to me?
Might you regret some things
you did say in moments of anger?
Had you warning, how would of
our last conversation played out?
I suspect you would ask that one
question you were never quite
brave enough to dare

There are always those unanswered questions...how much did they care? Will they miss me? Would it have mattered if they'd known? Will it matter any more or less when I'm gone? Did I matter? The pain and weariness in this piece is incredibly heavy, Sandman. If only I could lift it...even a little. So much love and so many hugs...

My Dearest Sandman - these questions and thoughts placed before us - hard indeed to ponder but no less understandable...the ache in this can be heard through the screen and I can even hear the rumble of a dark and suspenseful score behind it...this ate at me....more hugs and love then you’d know what to do with coming from me to blanket you in dreams...
