witness--a beautiful world refracted
through an ugly mind, memory attacks its prey
and kills hope into nostalgia--an ache in the heart
born of a crack, rubber limbs and a stone head
heavy in apathetic repose--
a dutiful erection
a hymen ruptured for the sake
of future regrets, I am alive
in your post-virgin mind, a statue
casting its shadow through expanding'
years of solitude--
