in the shadow of your beam
as the sand bed has the glory of your body upon it
and the sun warms your perfect skin
and your muscles stretched like yogis
know that your distant plums ache with sin
as the warm rush of an ocean’s wind
caresses the curve of your hips
and whispers down your thighs
i suffer only dreams in your dark cell
does it make you moist
to know that simply because you say so
i am silenced from the day
not moon or Selene know of me
but you do
does it bring smile or smirk
to know that your pleasures
are the only ones on our minds
that even in my suffering
the earthquakes of my torment
are all in the pursuit
of that beaming glare from your eyes
i only know of no
of almost
and never
yet for you the rays of bliss
and the sun warms your perfect skin
and your muscles stretched like yogis
know that your distant plums ache with sin
as the warm rush of an ocean’s wind
caresses the curve of your hips
and whispers down your thighs
i suffer only dreams in your dark cell
does it make you moist
to know that simply because you say so
i am silenced from the day
not moon or Selene know of me
but you do
does it bring smile or smirk
to know that your pleasures
are the only ones on our minds
that even in my suffering
the earthquakes of my torment
are all in the pursuit
of that beaming glare from your eyes
i only know of no
of almost
and never
yet for you the rays of bliss
