Escape with Death
A girl so pale with eyes so red
Wondering why she isn't dead
Bones eat at her gloomy dress
Her mouth is dry and her nails a mess
She sits in the corner with a demon of a shadow
Her world is tainted by pain and sorrow
A door swings open and a man enters
She doesn't even flinch as he undresses her
Dripping in sweat he pulls her into position
She may scream but no one will listen
When he's done he leaves her there
Chained by the kneck in his lair
In her own filth she whimpers and cries
Tries to escape by closing her eyes
She prays to the heavens with urgent need
All she wants is to be freed
Her shadow trembles and transforms
An angel comes to take her home
Death embraces her and holds her tight
With ashen wings they take their flight

Sweetest friend, after reading, hearing your voice, I had to take a few min, I know, I understand, my gawd child we've walked so many fucking miles along similar routes. I could hear your voice in between your words of all your other poems among your injuries of self expression due to so much trauma. Sweetheart please know you are never alone, msg me anytime. I wish I could offer some sort of comfort all I can do is send you my most warmest of warm embraces as well as my prayers hoping with all my might you can find a bit of peace, some ease. Stay strong Merchant show the world they didn't and won't win. Written with raw grit, elegance, beauty in spite of your pain, I applaud your bravery for this will bring about desperately needed awareness, will help someone still lost in the shadows possibly even a child's life. Thank you from depths dark for posting this amazing poem. Much love and mad mad respect,

Hello again my sweet Shadow, it makes me both happy that someone can understand me but terribly sad that someone has been on a similar path to me. I wish you all the best and hope life treats you more fairly. It seems so unreal to me to know that there is another poet, someone who is so elegant with their words, that can understand me so well. My sweetest Merchant you underestimate your own very talented skill set, reread your poems you'll see I'm right. Think of it this way, we were damn lucky at least we made it out alive, so very frickin many didn't... You are gonna get your feet under you my sweetness, always remember you are far more stronger than you still yet believe, your power and strength shine in between your raw but beautiful words. Chin up my lil buttercup soon enough you'll see I'm right. Now you gone and made me blush... I so appreciate your many gracious kindnesses.
