SHORT INTERLUDE TO FLIGHT
Lying in the bed early morning eyes searching for focus as they roll in your direction
My soul is hungry for your affection… but you look so peaceful in your surreal unconscious state
I find myself weak with passion as my body craves you wanting your taste
I don’t mean to hover over you as I enjoy this moment of stalking you as you sleep
Deep breaths I take as this moment builds to a need of a kiss
Should I, dare I… am I stealing or am I giving you what you crave in your subconscious mind
My lips draw closer to you as my heart begins to beat like a drum… I so need you and I know this has to be a sign of things to come
Our lips meet with a sweetness that sends my mind racing into unbound ecstasy
My hands slowly surround you like the night sky covering the earth…
Feel me breathing against your neck as I seem to can’t get close enough to you
What’s this a smile begins to form within your pouting lips… as your eye search the depths of your eye lids
Good morning, as you say good morning too… you said you could hear my heart beat in your sleep
You heard the echoing beats of passion that build within me like a volcano that is about to erupt
You turn to me as our noses meet as oxygen seem to fade as we inhale each other’s stale air
There are moments in life that seem to fade your mind but times like these fuel the heart and instill a will that become a clue which bonds a love that is so powerful that even in death the memory is as strong as if it just happened freshly within sight and touch
Forgive me if I stare into your eyes like a love sick puppy begging for nourishment of such
Moments like these make waking up to such a delight… moments like these send my heart in flight
My mind soar like a bird in the sky… she loves me and I love her… a feeling that makes my heart sigh
I smile in the back of my mind I cannot deny what a feeling this is to me
Do you have any idea of how great a feeling you bring upon my soul or do you enjoy having me at will a man who loves you like nothing else matters in this world
Tears form in your eyes because maybe you finally begin to understand that this very moment in time is like a still picture frozen in time captured by your heart a moment that cannot be dreamed up but only lived to truly understand
I dare you to love like this in return and then maybe we both can be a living example of a man and a woman loving on a level that would send the heart into a coma of eternal completion… forcing us to a will of one soul no longer living as two but as one vessel
