Quench
Lying in the dark,
Whimpering there all alone,
It doesn't matter what you saw,
As long as your eyes shone.
Bittersweet betrayal now,
Fear pouring from those orbs.
It just fascinates me,
All the pain they can absorb.
Breaking down your boundaries,
Bending rules that you don't have,
Isn't it astounding,
How one can relive their past?
Echoes etched in eons worth
of Self-imposed denial,
Bringing now to light,
All your pain through this one trial.
Bordering your conscience
Are the reasons for your blight.
You've been growing nauseous
And it's such a lustrous sight.
Lying in the dark,
Still just whimpering alone.
I can tell you're frightened,
But this is your new home.
Puddles pool around you,
Wallowing in your own filth.
Shudders will surround you
Until you're completely still.
As the light evades you,
Know that, down to your last breath,
You've been monumental
In my journey to bring death.
Whimpering there all alone,
It doesn't matter what you saw,
As long as your eyes shone.
Bittersweet betrayal now,
Fear pouring from those orbs.
It just fascinates me,
All the pain they can absorb.
Breaking down your boundaries,
