Anger is the emotion that has lived in me throughout the years

Loyalty is a foreign word that has never been fully defined

Infidelities has been your main goal always reaching for the highest number with hopes of proving your manhood

Humiliation best  describes how I feel every time I hear something about you and reflect back to all the times you have criticized or belittled me

Disappointed with every broken promise you have ever made me

Despondent knowing that I will never fill that void you have left me with

Struggling with insomnia and self love as 1,000 questions flutter through my mind
How come your love was never effortless or unconditional?

Absentmindedly lost in thoughts of what life could have been being Daddy's little girl

Emotional recovery is where I am at today, understanding that it was never me, that you hold total responsibility for the lack of us and soon I'll find closure
