The Villainous Voices

I am not here to earn any fame.
To gain for myself power and glory.
I do not care if you've heard my name.
But I am the hero of this story.
 
But now the voices start to call.
Taunting me with forked tongues.
The pressure's building up, I'll fall.
But not before this fight is won.
 
Despite what they tell me.
Against all of their claims.
I will have my victory.
Even if nothing else remains.
 
I am the ghost of horrors long past.
Fate is my weapon, from heaven cast.
Strong is my fortress, feeble my foes.
I am the dragon without a soul.
 
Queen of land as darkness takes hold.
Spawning the wicked, plans to unfold.
Now for before me, do what you must.
Death is your dance, blood is your lust.

Played them for fools, for all that it does.
