Merry XXXmas

Yes indeed it's that time of year
For family, food and holiday cheer
But my mind is shifting too far out of gear
Engulfed by the heat from thoughts that appear

Let me be a little more clear
And explain what I'd do if you were here
How I'd give gifts that can lift winter's chill
To receive the gift of indulging in the thrill

There'd be a special present hiding under the tree

Waiting to be opened, my Christmas fantasy
