My love is a broken wing
Only sad songs, I can sing
Lonely hearts control my tone
I sit by myself, like a stone

I emptied the rain out of my heart
A vessel dumped, in every part
Contagious love is hard to find
I know it's buried in my mind

Scattered hearts throughout the world
On these pages my emotions are poured
For every person to be inspired
I write my dailies, hand is tired

Scorching sun burns my soul
I'm growing weaker, paid my toll
But I live my life, strong and bold
I dream in colors, blue and gold

Someday life will take my hand
Follow loves footprints in the sand
So take my heart, let it overflow
With joyous and thunderous overload

Make two hearts subliminally intertwine
Hide the scars we may find
Bury the time capsule, with hidden past
Succumb to life, glorious and vast
