lost girl

Sweet and endearing,
Yet truly frail within,
Pondering life, she feels so lost,
Smiling and saying she�s okay,
She goes through the motions,
Hoping for happiness and dreaming of rapturous loves,
Feeling numb but flooded with emotions,
Thinking she�ll fail her motivation has faded,
Knowing she not okay she brushes it aside,
Believing in others seems to be so easy,
Believing in herself seems to be too hard,
Sorrow fills her eyes as she looks to her reflection,
Seeing lost girl,
A single tear falls,
And her eyes drift away,
A sound feeling as she falls to the floor,
Kind but withering a broken girl can be whole.
