Even you’re cigarette smoke
tastes
as sweet
as you look
you’re twice
as deadly
than a Stephen King book
hooking in your claws
dragging off to feed
i may only scream a little
but you like it when i bleed
sinking in your teeth
tearing of the skin from bone
it hurts less than this pain
that you’ve left me here and all alone

I love when anyone digs past a week previous for poems in my work;it gives me a chance to reflect on days past, and thoughts not forgotten but dormant. Always a good feeling
