The Color of the Devil

Tea reeking, rose stained lips
On her throne she sits
Like an executioner, she gives orders
All in the name of love

Eyes, blue, burning with her wrath
Smiling like a heavenly host
Counting every hour until her rapture
She's gonna resurrect me

Hair, blonde, white like snow
And colder than her ever beating heart
That voice, angelic, sweet
Her accent fills the room
It pollutes the air, toxic to breathe
She's suffocating me

Look beyond her elegance
There's horns beneath platinum strands
Her claws kept sharp and painted red
Her ego kept safe behind the fabric of her blazer

Her identity hidden in a lie
Her colors start to show
Erupting into a sinful palette
Splattering on every untainted thing

Her ink is stained on me
No soap can scrub it clean
She cannot wipe away her evil nature
This is how her tint will be

She never looked this way to us
Justice healed our colorblindness
Don't judge an angel by their halo
She's the color of the devil

To the woman who took advantage of me, karma will have her way
