A door

The eyes don't lie nor hide true fear,
As shortness in breath tells the end is near.

Her eyes seemed strong and full of hope,
Bloodshot and bulged once I tightened my rope.

She panics and claws as bind her with might,
She fails and all Hope begins to darken with the night.

Naked and cold her bruised body is bleeding,
Hog-tied and gaged it's all I was needing.

I drag my cold blade across the arch on her feet,
Cut my name on her thigh simple and neat.

I brush hair from her face and wipe off her tears,
I now am God of all that she fears.

The roar of the wind through the trees in the night,
I calm my rushing heart and focus to grip my blade tight.

She flinches just seconds before she sees my hand drop,
My heart rushes once more and I know this can't stop.

Moaning and shaking shes gasping for life,
I stop short of her dying to clean off my knife.

I kneel down to kiss her and feel her last breath,
I bask in the marvel of transformation in death.

I strip myself naked to walk in the moons glow,
I am God of this world and all that I know.

Born into chaos death is but a door,
I venture off to release them once more.
