As days go by, and time moves forward
I look towards a quick escape from being imprisoned
in this world of confusion and helplessness
Why do I feel so incomplete?
I see strangers in people who were once so close
Even the chains of good friendship I once had just keep fading away
The bridge that kept it strong, shattered and crumbling
Bonds fall apart and despair takes over

I love this. I had to endure this when my friends started doing drugs. They just became... Burn outs. It was really, really sad to look at them.
