ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST.
I park outside a nightclub car park
Stay well hidden in the dark
Push the seat back, take off my shoes
I’m feeling flustered, it must be the booze
I look across the car park, I can see a girl
My mind is in a flurry, in a whirl
All I want is a sexual thrill
This time I’m determined not to kill
The girl starts to walk in my direction
I’m ready for some love and affection
She starts to walk directly to me
I thought I was hidden where no-one could see
The girl is stunning, a really good looker
She doesn’t look like a hooker
Tidy suit nice and neat
Hair long and in a pleat
She starts pacing up and down along the ground
Keeps looking all around
I don’t think this girl is going to cost
In fact she seems to look lost
I slowly open my window
Put my hands to my mouth and bellow
“ Hey gorgeous, are you alright?
You shouldn’t be hanging around here at night”
For a chat up line, that’s really lame
But I’m not insulting her by asking if she’s on the game
She comes rushing over “Shush lower your voice
I’m out here because I don’t have a choice
I am here on a work trip
The person I was watching gave me the slip
My client will be mad, he won’t forgive
He will think that I’m a shit detective
I work for a company that looks for cheating wives
I poke and prod into every part of their lives
The woman I am looking for is having an affair
I saw her earlier, now I can’t find her anywhere
I took some photos, wrote down some details
Of the people she socialised with, especially the males
I think she may have spotted me
As she stopped her conversation and broke free
She saw me writing in my book
Gave me an evil glare and off she took
I have been looking for her for a while
It wouldn’t be so bad but I’m on a trial
I have done most of my training
I don’t have many exams remaining
My boss is going to be mad with me
Because the woman’s husband won’t be happy
With bad news I’ll have to take back
I’m sure to be given the sack
Anyway, that’s enough about me
What’s your name? I’m Kirsty"
She looks at her watch “Oh no, oh shit
Bloody hell, God damn it
With all the commotion, all the fuss
I seem to have missed the last bus
This has been a very late shift
Can I be a pain and ask you for a lift?
“Sure jump in, where do you stay?
I’ll take you there straight away
Actually, there’s something I need to do
It will only take a minute or two"
I’m so paranoid about the tattooed prostitute
But to keep her concealed I’m resolute
I drive around the area, stop at the Forrest
I need to check where she lies at rest
Because it’s dark, the middle of the night
I’ve taken from my car, my battery operated flash light
I take the rugged path that leads me to the place
A look of sheer horror flashes across my face
Something has been digging around
Something has pushed back the soft ground
I pull away the rest of the soil
My mind is in a state of agitation and turmoil
I open the case all is not well
Her body is rotting and there’s a repulsive smell
The body has started to decompose
The acrid smell burns the lining of my nose
My head is hurting and there’s another terrible smell
Oh no I know this feeling well
I hear a faint noise and then a scream
Turn around and see a face in my torch beam
She turns around and runs away from me
The person who is doing a runner is Kirsty
She tries to run with speed but the grounds like a bog
And she doesn’t see the grounded log
Trips over, lands on her face
Legs and arms splayed all over the place
I jump on top of her, pin her down
In the wet mud she starts to drown
She tries to push herself up with her hand
But the mud is like quick sand
Blown bubbles of air rise to the top of the muck
She tries to lift her head but she is stuck
Her movements and thrashing are slower now
As she runs out of breath in the muddy slough
She stops fighting, takes her last breath
Asphyxiation is the cause of her death
I think I will hold her down for another minute
Just to make sure she had definitely drowned in it
I whisper to her “Oh you stupid girl Kirsty
Why did you have to follow me?
You’re a stupid fool so you are
You should have stayed in the car
Now look what you have made me do
I’m sorry, I swear it’s true
You were not meant to die
But you couldn’t help but pry
Because of your futile investigation
This is now your final destination”
I shall have to leave her body
I’m lacking in enthusiasm and energy
Someone is sure to find her now
The stupid, nosey, intrusive cow
Yet another one bites the dust
I need to go home, I really must
I need a shower, I’m filthy
Mud and leaves cover me
My shoes look like two mud blocks
My feet are squelching in my socks
My clothes are sticking to my skin
Sludge is dripping from my chin
Head to toe covered in mud
And all sorts of other crud
I hope this place will be scoured
Hope hungry rats have her body devoured
I know I am taking a risk, taking a gamble
I hope no one goes for a ramble
Stay well hidden in the dark
Push the seat back, take off my shoes
I’m feeling flustered, it must be the booze
I look across the car park, I can see a girl
My mind is in a flurry, in a whirl
All I want is a sexual thrill
